A COUPLE from Poole, Dorset, are trying to trace some long-lost Ribble Valley friends for a special celebration.
Chris and Trish Roberts met a Clitheroe doctor and his wife, named Richard and Mary, on a skiing holiday 26 years ago and the following year they were special guests at their wedding in Bournemouth.

Now Chris and Trish are preparing to celebrate their silver wedding anniversary, in September, and would like to invite Richard and Mary.

But Chris writes: "Sadly we lost touch over the years and don't even have a record of their surname. They lived in the Ribble Valley and Richard was a GP in Clitheroe. If there is any way you can help us to contact them, we would be very grateful."

Anyone with information can call Chris or Trish on 0781 8066373 or e-mail c040701r@willro.wanadoo.co.uk
