Police investigate Gucci theft

A DESIGNER handbag with goods worth £1,600 has been stolen.

Thieves took the green and red-lined Gucci handbag between 2-45 and 3-40 p.m. on Tuesday, while it was left outside a house in King Street, Whalley.

The bag contained a Nokia 6111 mobile phone, a Canon Ixus digital camera, part of a Sony car stereo, a Gucci purse and £180.

Police investigations are continuing into the theft. If anyone is aware of the whereabouts of the handbag, or has been offered any of the goods mentioned for sale, they are urged to call Clitheroe Police on 443344, or the free-and-confidential Crimestoppers line on 0800 555111.
