FIRE-FIGHTERS and paramedics were called in to help in the rescue of a man who plunged 30ft down a Chatburn embankment last night.
The casualty was taken to hospital following the drama, which unfolded at 9-57 p.m. in Ribble Lane and saw him land in a stream.
