THERE is room for just two more teams in an annual golf day which raises funds for Burnley Boys' Club.
To be held at Clitheroe Golf Club on July 1st, the competition is now in its 14th year.

It is hoped 18 teams will take to the fairways for a day which includes a golf goody bag at the first tee, refreshments halfway round and a three-course dinner at the end of the day, with lots of prizes to be won at the evening presentation.

Mr Peter Maddock, on behalf of the boys' club, said the cost to enter a team of four into the event was £320, while individual holes could be sponsored for £50 by calling 01282 771432 or emailing petermaddock@auto-tools.co.uk
