FOUR laptop computers have been donated to a hospital to honour the memory of a young Ribble Valley woman who died from leukaemia.
Sadie Kearns Banks Musgrove (20) died in December 2007 – 13 days after marrying childhood sweetheart Matthew.

A former pupil of St Augustine's RC High School, Billington, Sadie fought the disease for two years.

After her death, her family and friends set up a charity called "Sadie's Pot of Gold" in her memory to help young people and their families who are battling with leukaemia.

The money raised has so far benefited several good causes with the latest presentation of four laptops to the young oncology unit at the Christie Hospital in Manchester.

Sadie's husband, Matthew and her parents Judith and Clive, would like to say a sincere thank you to everyone for their most generous donations and continuing support.

The support they have received has been outstanding.
