A PLANNING application has been submitted to Ribble Valley Borough Council for the proposed conversion and change of use of a redundant agricultural building into a live/work unit to provide a three-bedroom home and cafe and bunk barn accommodation.
Comments on the proposal at New Barn, Holden Lane, Slaidburn (number 0471) must be made to the council by September 12th.

Other plans include:

Clitheroe: Single storey extension to provide accommodation for elderly relatives to live with family at 69 Fairfield Drive (0706).

Rimington: Discharge of condition number 3, planning application 3/2003/0750 relating to materials at Halsteads Farm, Rimington Lane (0709).

Sawley: Proposed new building for storage of machinery and straw at Higher Greenhead Farm, Gisburn Road (0697). Application to remove condition number 2 of application 3/2001/0664 to allow use of cottage as permanent residential accommodation at Riverside Cottage, Sawley Road (0713).

Slaidburn: Proposed discharge of conditions number 2 and 4 of planning application 3/2007/0621 relating to materials at Hodder Service Reservoir off Catlow Road (0688).
