All of whom were on hand to present the awards to the cricketers.

A special Endeavour Award sponsored by Walton (Adams & Co) was gratefully received by Morgan Livesey and Bella Simkin for their commitment and dedication throughout the season.

Raiders Chairperson Farouk Hussain was full of praise for the children and volunteers that contributed to an amazing first season: “It’s been an incredible start and way above my expectations.

“A massive thanks to everyone who attended during the season - especially the adult volunteers.

“To have so many children wanting to come down and take advantage of free coaching clearly demonstrates that there is a great need for it.

“We are looking to build upon this initial success by delivering winter indoor sessions, as well as entering teams in the Ribblesdale League for the 2016 season.

“Raiders is a family club that will continue to provide free outdoor cricket coaching for children aged four-16.

“We will enhance the children’s cricketing experience by arranging a wide range of cricket-related events and excursions - delivering the complete cricketing package.”
