THE Stonyhurst St Mary’s Hall Under 12s’ hockey team qualified for the Independent Association of Prep Schools National Hockey Finals.

The team finished second in the regional competition at Repton School.

The Finals took place earlier this month at Queenswood School in Hertfordshire, and the St Mary’s Hall team had a fantastic day, winning the Plate Semi-Finals and bringing home the runners-up trophy and silver medals.

Games teacher Sally Evans, said: “The Under 12s have done really well and were very excited to play in the finals.

“Their hard work has paid off.”
