Ribble Valley back on track!

RIBBLE Valley Netball Club Under 12s got back to winning ways at Stockport on Sunday.

In a league where they are nearly always the youngest team, the locals showed real determination to beat a strong team by seven goals.

With a few of the team unavailable to play, two girls from other Ribble Valley Netball Club teams had to be brought in to fill the gaps, but the ever-reliable Zoe Matthews did a amazing job of leading the attack and encouraging the younger players throughout the match.

The game also had Ella Boyes making her first appeareance for the Under 12s and doing a superb job at wing attack.

Hopefully the girls will be able to build on this result.
