WHEN the RVNC Under 13s entered a league made up of mainly Under 14 and Under 16s it was never going to be easy.

But with a mixture of determination and great ball work they beat a very strong Oldham squad 25-13 to record tehir first win of the year.

The Under 12s Rangos team put in another great performance to record an impressive 23-16 victory, while the Under 12s Raccoons tried out some new players and worked on their game play but could not get the better of their more experienced opposition.

The Under 14s team nearly did not have a game due to illness and other commitments but they managed to get the seven girls needed to the venue,some of the team feeling very unwell.

They ended up playing three of the four quarters as fatigue got the better of some of the squad but only lost by two goals.

Meanwhile, the Under 16s enjoyed another great win against Trafford.
