Oakhill have been crowned Ribble Valley cricket champions after hitting their competition for six.

The Year Six pupils progressed from a difficult group stage having seen off Whalley and Edisford School to reach the knockouts.

The boys performed admirably, edging a quarter-final by three runs before sealing a spot in the finale.

The team then overcame their stage fright to claim the trophy by beating St Michael and St John’s by 17 runs.
