Modern Pentathlon world champion Samantha Murray has been presented with Team Bath’s Athlete of the Month award.
The awards, supported by Oakley and Ellis & Killpartrick Optometrists, covered the period of September and October.
The 24-year-old became only the fourth British woman in history to win individual Modern Pentathlon World Championship gold in Warsaw back in September.
The West Bradford athlete, who also won bronze at the 2012 World Championships in Rome and silver at the London 2012 Olympics, registered a modern pentathlon short course world record in Poland for the 200m freestyle.
The performances of Murray, Freyja Prentice and Kate French also saw Great Britain take team silver behind China.
