Clitheroe’s Luke Blackledge will be looking to land his fourth professional strap next month at Blackburn’s King George’s Hall.
Britain’s number nine super middleweight, who beat Ghanaian Philip Kotey at the same venue in September, will take on Leicester’s Jahmaine Smyle for the prized English title.
Blackledge’s 28-year-old opponent, known as the ‘Smasher’, has 11 wins from his 17 professional contests including five knockouts.
His latest outing resulted in a technical draw against Cello Renda after a head clash halted the pair’s final eliminator fight in the first round.
Meanwhile, Blackledge claimed his third belt in victory over Kotey - adding the WBC International Silver title to his International Masters and British Masters accolades.
Anybody wanting tickets for the show on Saturday, November 22nd can contact Luke on 07731 542103.
