Clay pigeon shooter Joshua Bridges had his finger on the trigger and an eagle eye on the target as he secured a gold medal in the British Fitasc Grand Prix.

The 18-year-old scored 91 on the opening day of the event at Westfield shooting ground.

The former Ribblesdale High School pupil then shot 92 on the second day to give him a 183/200 total to earn gold in the junior section and fourth overall from what was a world class entry.

Joshua would like to thank his sponsors Coniston Shooting Ground, SDS Albion Engineering, Malmo Guns R/E Ranger -York Guns, Browning International, Cheddite Cartridges and Dunbia Sawley for their help and support.
