Clitheroe Dolphins swimmer (14) makes national qualifying time

will Murray was the star of the show as Clitheroe Dolphins competed at the Lancashire County Championships at the Liverpool and Manchester Aquatics Centres.

Will won the Boys’ 14-year-old 100m freestyle in a National Qualifying Time, and added silver in the 50m freestyle, and bronze in the 200m freestyle, with both times qualifying for the Regional Championships. He also earned two fourth places and a sixth.

Harvey Griffin swam to top 10 finishes in the 200m breaststroke and 200m IM, while Alice Fox was 13th in the 10-year-old girls’ age group for her all-round performance.

Other Dolphins achieved personal best times - Hannah Procter, Alasdair Moir, Jack Stanley, Joseph Kenny, Patrick Enion, Abigail Procter, Darcy Williams, Alice Entwistle, Isabella Watt, Henry Gibson, Jacob Crompton and Cameron Deacon.
