Four Clitheroe Dolphins have been swimming at the Manchester Aquatics Centre over two weekends at the NW Regional Championships.

The qualifying times are very tough and it is the first time in many years the Dolphins have had swimmers competing there.

Megan Davidson (14) competed in the 100m Butterfly and set a new personal best while winning her heat from lane 8.

Jack Stanley (12) competed in the 100m Freestyle, 200m Freestyle, 100m Butterfly and 200m IM and set new personal best times in all four swims, despite struggling with injuries over the previous few weeks.

Joseph Kenny (12) competed in the 100 Freestyle and 200m Freestyle, again setting new PB times.

He won his heat of the 200m Freestyle by quite some margin with a four-second improvement.

And Hannah Procter (12) competed in the 100m and 200m Freestyle, 100m and 200m Breaststroke and the 200m IM and moved up the rankings in all the events with new PB times.
