AN East Lancashire select team won the Gascon Small Table Snooker Team Trophy against Fylde Coast at Low Moor Club, Clitheroe on Sunday.
Played over the best of 13 frames, the locals won 7-6, with Paul Clark winning the decider 62-4, and the man of the match award in the process. Clark also had a break of 38.
East Lancs were 2-0 down after defeats for Carl Drinkwater and Sean Greenal, but Peter Mercer halved the deficit, only for Fylde to move into a 5-1 lead as Chris Catlow, Nigel Holmes and Duncan McNally lost.
Wayne Cotterill (53 break) started the comeback, and Andy Dibb made it 5-3.
Russell Large lost his game to leave Fylde a win away from victory, but James Waddington, Marc Holmes (42 break), Gaz Hampson and Paul Clark completed the win.
