Athlete Charlotte Williams was in record-breaking form at the weekend.
The Blackburn Harrier, a pupil at St Augustine’s, Billington, was in action at the 34th annual open medal meeting at Nelson.
She won gold in the high jump, silver in the shot putt. and then threw the discus 27.61m for gold - breaking Pendle’s all time record and her own Harriers mark, which stood at 25 .67m
Charlotte was already ranked number one in the north west, and has now broken in to the top 10 in the United Kingdom - a phenomenal achievement, but well deserved as she trains almost every day she can.
Charlotte will travel to Derby next to compete again.
Her last meeting comes in Wrexham at the end of the month, in which she will compete in the quadrathlon.
