Jim Bridge made mincemeat of the Mytton Fold golf course when he whisked his way to a very tasty 37 points over the 16-hole winter course. His nett 47 put him 12 shots under par over just 16 holes!

Master baker Jim’s recipe for success ensured that he had a whopping five points lead over second placed John Parkinson who, in turn, had a four point cushion over third placed Nigel Fairhurst.

In the ladies’ section it was a win for Judith Kay, with Tarja Wilson second.

There was just one player who had a two; however Nick Avino’s birdie at the first didn’t qualify as he was playing in the Winter Pairs competition!

In the Winter Pairs Barrie Walmsley and Keith Fitzhenry were stars of the show once again when they topped the charts with 37 points. Just two points behind were Nick Avino and Martin Holden. Having played in eleven rounds of the winter series, these two pairings are now dropping their lowest scores with only the best nine scores to count.
