Salesbury eased to victory at Padiham on Saturday to climb to fifth place in the embryonic Ribblesdale League table.
Of course, when the sides have played each other once, Salesbury will be in Section B, but their promotion hopes have been boosted by an impressive start to the campaign.
At the Arbories, Ed Foster and Josh Bristol were the destroyers in chief as the home side were dismissed for 130 inside 42 overs.
Foster claimed 5-50 off his 13 overs, while Bristol also chipped in with 3-16 off six.
Professional Susantha Pradeep and Mohamed Shabaz also claimed a wicket apiece to put the Red Caps firmly in the driving seat at tea.
And in reply, openers Jason Rawson and James Watson rammed home the advantage.
Watson made 25 before being trapped by Nathan Whitehead, and Rawson contributed 34 before being run out.
Pradeep was out to a return catch from Steve Meehan for 15, but Aneeq Hassan hit an unbeaten 31 off 20 balls to see Salesbury home in the 23rd over.
On Saturday, Salesbury finally play their first home game of the season against Brooksbottom in the Ramsbottom Cup first round.
Draw: Baxenden v Brinscall; Great Harwood v Ribblesdale Wanderers; Euxton v Padiham; Whalley v Clitheroe; Salesbury v Brooksbottom; Read v Barnoldswick; Oswaldtwistle Immanuel v Edenfield; Cherry Tree v Settle.
