Ramsey stunned Peel to book their place in the final of the Paddy Power FA Cup thanks to a 2-0 win at Ballacloan on Saturday afternoon.

Chris Duggan opened the scoring for the northerners with a second half penalty before Lewis Qualtrough sealed the victory late on.

They will meet St George’s in the final after the grand slam-chasers brushed aside St Mary’s 5-1 at the Bowl.

Ciaran McNulty netted the opener from the penalty spot, only for Andy Glover to level matters with a fine header.

However, Johnny Myers scored a superb individual goal before Calum Morrissey doubled their advantage with a header in the second half.

McNulty then grabbed his second of the game and substitute Sam Caine rounded off the win in injury time.

St Mary’s were reduced to 10 men when Glover was given a straight red for headbutting Geordies goalkeeper Grant Dawson.
