Clitheroe boss Simon Garner has moved to fill the void left by Sefton Gonzales’ departure to Stockport County.
And both signings will be familiar to Blues fans.
Garner has snapped up Lloyd Dean and Scott Bakkor, both who have enjoyed a previous spell at Shawbridge, and Garner said: “Both lads were at the club when we took the job and excelled in a faltering side to earn themselves moves to sides in the division above.
“They are exciting players that provide a cutting edge that we have been looking to add in the final third.
“Lloyd is a goal scorer and a winner, and his scoring record in his previous spell was superb.
“Scott can change a game with his pace, skill and power – he is a dynamic attacking player who can play anywhere across the front.”
The Blues rounded off their pre-season campaign at AFC Darwen last night, after a 3-0- win at Shelley on Saturday, with Dean, Scott Harries and Jonny Hession on target.
Clitheroe’s first Evo-Stik First Division North league game is a week on Saturday at home to Prescot Cables.
