PRO-FUTURE Under 10s had another winning weekend.

On Saturday in the Acctrington and District Football League, the Whalley side won 4-0 against Wilpshire Wanderers with goals from Lewis Gregson, Mackensie Currie, Nathan Mashiter and Zaid Adam.

And on Sunday in the East Lancs Football Alliance, they won by the same score against Rossendale Valley Tigers, with Tommy Davies (2), Paul Hopkins and, with his first goal for the club, Matt Anderton on target.

• WHALLEY Juniors Under 8s beat Clitheroe Wolves 9-1 to stretch their perfect start to the season to five wins from five.

Whalley scored in the first minute through Mckenzie Strong, and more goals followed shortly after through Frazer Kenny and Sam Jones as they went in 3-0 up at hal-time.

In the second half Whalley stepped up a gear, with Strong scoring a further three goals to take his tally to four.

Jones and Kenny both added goals, with the ninth goal coming from man of the match Billy Howland.
