Dog Inn raring to return

LEAGUE champions Dog Inn are hoping to return to action against Tavern at Wilson’s today.

No league games have been played since November 20th and manager Simon Kerins said: “Despite not having played for over two months, the attitude of the players has been excellent and the commitment shown in training bodes very well for the rest of the season.

In our last match, we were three goals down at half-time but recovered to win 4-3. If we had lost that game, we would have had to carry that hurt with us for the past two and a half-months.

Happily, we won it and so are looking to extend a winning run of four matches when we do resume league action.”
