Dog Inn manager Simon Kerins felt his side were “not streetwise enough” as they slipped to defeat against Baggy’s Wine Bar.

Trailing 2-0 after just five minutes, they pulled a goal back through Naiden Holgate and after Baggy’s had netted a third, Liam Boyle fired home a second for Dog.

Captain Nick Lord equalised but they failed to take advantage of the famous Memorial slope and, after missing a number of good chances, found themselves 6-3 behind. Simon Holgate gave them hope, but they were unable to make further inroads in the dying minutes.
