CLITHEROE Wolves Under 11s Green climbed the table with a 6-0 win over Darwen Spartans.

First on the score sheet was Mark Walker with a cracking goal, soon followed by a Tom Neilson special.

Harry Exell soon added his name to the scoresheet, following some good link up play with Walker with a curling shot into the top corner.

After the break Wolves continued to dominate the match, and it wasnt long until Harry Oldroyd added the fourth, running down the wing and powering a shot into the top corner.

It was 5-0 when a corner was cleared to Louie Sims, and he volleyed past the keeper, and two minutes later Sims bagged an identical goal to round off the scoring.

Man of the match was Cameron Smith in defence.

Clitheroe Wolves Under 18s travelled to Blue Star Blackburn on Sunday and came away with a 4 2 victory thanks to a double from Rick McGurty, one each from Micky Tomlinson and man of the match Jake Nuttall, who punched well above his weight.

There were also good performances from Bert Phillips, Tom Carter and Don McGrath.
