Blues boss Paul Moore is ready to bolster his squad after enduring a frustrating start to the campaign.

Clitheroe were without six first team players for the FA Cup preliminary round defeat to rivals Padiham at the Arbories, with key personnel Mark Threlfall and Simon Nangle among those sidelined through injury.

“It’s a struggle at the moment because we don’t have the players that we’d set out to start the season with,” he said. “We haven’t got a bag of riches so we can only play with what we’ve got available. We have to grind our way through and work hard as a group of players.

“We’ve got some additions coming in next week which will hopefully help us so we’ll look to push on from there.”

• Clitheroe FC welcome any season ticket holder of a Premier League or Championship club on Saturday.

On production of their season ticket, they will be admitted for £5 for the big clash with Darlington 1883, kick-off 3 p.m., as part of the nationwide Non-League Day.
