Burnley look set to sign Spurs midfielder Alex Pritchard on loan ahead of tomorrow's transfer deadline.
The Clarets appear to have beaten off opposition from fellow Championship promotion hopefuls Middlesbrough for the 22-year-old, who has won nine England Under 21 caps.
Pritchard has made two first team appearances at Spurs, and enjoyed loan spells with Peterborough United, Swindon Town and Brentford, for whom he scored 12 goals in 45 appearances last season, playing alongside Andre Gray.
This season, Pritchard has been sidelined with an ankle injury, but he is back on full training.
Spurs were keen to keep him in and around the first team squad, but have now decided to allow him out on loan, and he is expected to see out the season at Turf Moor.
