Burnley FC’s Brian Jensen kicks off testimonial year

BRIAN Jensen’s testimonial year is set to begin in earnest.

“The Beast” is in his 10th season with the Clarets, and will kick-off his year of events next month.

First up is a Race Night With A Difference, to be held on Tuesday, November 20th in the James Hargreaves Stand’s executive suite.

Tickets are £10, including a pie and peas supper, for an event which will see a host of Jensen’s teammates from the decade compete in a number of special games - including blindfold penalty shootout, Happy Gikmore, nearest the pin, crossbar challenge and head on the brush, all taking place on the pitch at Turf Moor.

Jay Rodriguez is expected to make a return to Turf Moor, along with the likes of Ade Akinbiyi, Robbie Blake, Danny Coyne and Graham Branch.

That event will be followed by An Evening with Brian Jensen in February, a golf day in April, a testimonial dinner, and his testimonial match, scheduled for next July.
