BURNLEY striker Jay Rodruguez will be on hand at Roefield Leisure’s grand re-opening and ‘come-and-try-it’ day after the completion of their £1m extension and refurbishment.
The day is aimed at all members of the family young and old, male and female, and runs from 9 a.m. through to 5 p.m., with over 20 different activities to have a go at, including several keep fit classes and martial arts, and young children are catered for with turbo tots - a parent toddler activity session - and a magical entertainer.
Burnley Football Club coaches will put kids through their paces with soccer skills, plus there will be a special penalty shootout, with Bertie Bee in goal.
Girls have the opportunity to take part in hip hop and dance mats, and you can also have a go at indoor rock climbing with qualified instructors.
There is also a family zumba-thon in the sports hall, a number of junior and adult boot camps, and chance to relax in the sauna and steam spa area.
Both the junior and main fitness suite will be available for both existing and new customers.
The £1m expansion is testament to the unyielding support from the community, together with the foresight of the Roefield management team.
They are giving away up to £80 in vouchers by way of free fitness suite inductions, keep fit classes, climbing courses and badminton sessions.
Admission is £5 per adult for the whole day, £3 for under 16s or £10 for a family of four.
