Clitheroe Cobras are given a fine send-off!

A civic reception in the company of the Mayor of Clitheroe, Councillor Susan Knox, gave Clitheroe Cobras a fine send-off as they embarked on their Dubai Tour.

Councillor Knox wished the boys success on their cricketing adventure, and looked forward to hearing about their exploits on their return.

Clitheroe Lions President Brian Cushing, also in attendance, was thanked by Cobras Chairman Farouk Hussain for the fantastic financial support provided by the Lions in kitting the boys out with blazers and ties.

The Chatburn Road youngsters will play five matches in the United Arab Emirates, as well as watching England take on Pakistan in Abu Dhabi and Dubai as part of a busy itinerary.
