Clitheroe Cobras, the junior section of Clitheroe Cricket Club, are the lucky recipients of new training shirts courtesy of Taylor Wimpey Manchester, in honour of the club’s 10th anniversary.

The developer provided the club with over £600 worth of sponsorship, which was used to kit out the Cobras Under 13 and Under 15 age groups.

Farouk Hussain, chairman of Clitheroe Cobras, said: “We are just a short distance from Taylor Wimpey’s Low Moor Gardens development and were over the moon when they got in touch to offer their support.

“Not only is this our 10th anniversary, but we also have 11 children who are currently representing Lancashire, so it’s great to see national companies such as Taylor Wimpey supporting grass roots sport and great young talent.”

Anthony Mansfield, sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey Manchester, added: “It’s a pleasure to be associated with the team and to be involved in celebrating a fantastic 10 years. We’re delighted our sponsorship is making a difference.”
