Evergreen Ribblesdale Wanderers bowler Ian Britcliffe took 5-59 as the Ribble Valley outfit hammered Cherry Tree.

An unbeaten half-century from Brendon Louw then helped the hosts surpass their 117-run target with just two wickets down.

Martin Briggs added 35 not out at Church Meadow while Bernard Vorster, who had earlier taken two wickets, underpinned his contribution with a knock of 23.

Meanwhile, openers Neil Hornbuckle (34) and Jonathan Sedgeley (32) spearheaded Salesbury’s success against Oswaldtwistle Immanuel.

Sam Bristol and Andrew Mercer then took care of business in the defence of their 130/7 finish.

Bristol took 4-59 while Mercer added 5-36 in a superb spell of bowling.
