Clitheroe Cricket Club have voted for their first female chairman in their 151-year history!
Amanda Hall, who lives in Waddington, is also first lady chairman in the history of the Ribblesdale League, which formed in 1892.
A solicitor and director of league sponsors Houldsworth Solicitors, Amanda brings with her a wealth of experience in business matters and organisation skills.
Her support for the club is invaluable and she has transformed the attitude in the general running of the cricket section.
Amanda said: “Clitheroe Cricket Club is an amazing place. It is a fantastic place for parents to bring their children and relax having a drink in the bar while the children make new friends.”
