Warning as pet cats go missing from Billington

A DISTRAUGHT Ribble Valley resident has warned other cat owners to keep a close eye on their felines after her beloved cat and around 10 others have gone missing from the Billington area.

Anne Marie Robinson (47), of Calder Avenue, Billington, wants to warn other pet owners about a spate of cat disappearances which included her two-year-old cat Priddy going missing on Monday September 3rd.

Despite a frantic search of the local area and phone calls to all of the Ribble Valley’s vets, Priddy has still not been found.

And to Anne Marie’s horror house calls to neighbouring residents revealed that around 10 other cats have gone missing from the Billington area in recent weeks.

“I’ve contacted the RSPCA, but I just want to make people aware that cats are going missing,” explained Anne Marie who looks after Priddy with her mother Kathleen.
