An historic Ribble Valley inn has been given a £350,000 makeover and will re-open it’s doors at Easter.
Built in the 1870s, The Higher Buck Inn, Waddington, has been given a new lease of life by owners Thwaites and incoming tenant Michael Heathcote, who is also the Chef Proprietor of the Duke of York Inn, Grindleton.
Mr Heathcote commented: “We’re aiming for a nice relaxed pub atmosphere and the menu will reflect this with lots of traditional favourites. We want customers to enjoy easy going dining and have tried to enhance the features of the lovely building with the extensive renovation work that has been carried out.”
The pub will also offer accommodation, in the form of seven bedrooms, which will be available to book from April 28th.
