Super talented Langho teenager Ella Shaw is through to the semi-finals of “Britain’s Got Talent”.
Earlier this month viewers saw 18-year-old Ella receive a standing ovation from the judges after singing an original song “Summertime” while playing on the piano.
The judges were truly impressed with her performance with Alesha Dixon telling her counterparts that she was “one to watch”. She kicked off the comments with: Ella, I love your voice. I was a very subtle, intimate performance and the fact that you’re here doing original material is admirable and I think you’re one to watch.” David Walliams said: “It is very brave to come on and sing an original song. You are so young and yet you are already on your way to being a star.”
On Saturday, Ella discovered she was one of 45 BGT auditionees that have made it through to the live semi-finals.
Speaking to the Clitheroe Advertiser, Ella said: “I was absolutely over the moon to find out I was through to the live shows. All the hard work and commitment is really starting to pay off.
“I’m taking a big risk when I perform, but I’m really hoping it’s good enough to get me through to the finals. I’ve had such amazing support already and I hope people pick up the phone and vote for me.”
