Have your say

Volunteers from the Salvation Army Charity Shop in Lowergate, Clitheroe, were invited to a meeting to give the Leaders an opportunity to say thank you for their service.

Territorial Envoy Brenda Wise presented each volunteer with a Certificate of Appreciation thanking them for their “outstanding, consistent and lasting contribution” to the shop. They were also presented with a Jubilee New Testament, and a fridge magnet entitled “Service with a Smile”.

The volunteers, and church members were commended by Captain Elizabeth Smith for their commitment to caring, which makes such a difference to our community.
