Woman's airport hysterics after missing plane - VIDEO

A woman who freaked out at an airport after missing her flight has had her hysterics uploaded on to YouTube after she was filmed by a passer-by.

The middle-aged Chinese woman can be seen charging at a security guard at the departure gate, before sprawling on the ground, wailing and screaming in a three-minute rant that can be viewed at www.youtube.com/watch?v=xbVw7entkxg

An elderly man who was said to be travelling with her tried to pull her to her feet but she can be heard shouting "I want to go, I want to go." in Cantoinese

Cathay Pacific reported it had closed the aircraft's doors and offloaded the woman's bags, and was therefore unable to allow her to board the San Francisco-bound flight.

"Don't be so upset, don't be so emotional," a Cathay Pacific staff member is heard saying on the video.

The video appeared on YouTube late last week and so far the "woman going insane after missing her flight video" has over 400,000 hits.

Cathay Pacific said it put the woman and her two travel companions on a later flight, at no extra cost.
