LATEST research reveals the current financial squeeze is taking its toll on our social lives, meaning less time for having fun and more time at work.
Indesit's research shows:
The average person in the North West wishes they had an extra 107 minutes a day
25% of people in the North West are working more hours due to the recession
19% of people in the North West haven't been able to take a holiday this year
We're currently living for the weekend – over 22% are forced to wait until the weekend to socialise with friends or catch up with partners and children
13% of people in the North West have given up sex due to not having enough hours in the day
What would people in the North West do with the extra 107 minutes each day?
Nearly half would exercise (43%)
51% would spend more time with our family
43% would use the extra time to socialise
49% would use the extra time to catch-up on some sleep
25% would have more sex
