Teenager Annie Smith went absolutely hairless to help a good cause. Annie (17), from Whalley, got her hairdresser mum to cut off her gorgeous long locks in front of an amazed crowd of supporters at the Dog Inn, Whalley.
And her pals Sophie and Bethany, pictured with her, just couldn’t resist planting a big kiss on her bald dome after the deed was done and the hair safely wrapped up.
Annie, a former pupil of Bowland High School, donated her hair to The Little Princess Trust, a charity that accepts real hair to make wigs for children suffering from cancer and other hair loss related illnesses.
Her brave sponsored effort also raised more than £400.
Pal Sophie Montague said: ”It was an emotional event but we are all so proud of her. She’s a true inspiration.”
