Langho's Ella, who is a former pupil of St Augustine's RC High School at Billington and was one of the acts who performed at The Young Voices concert at the Manchester Arena earlier this year, has dedicated her song The Power of Love.

"I'm still heartbroken after the attack in Manchester on Monday," Ella said. "I feel completely helpless, but really wanted to do something and I guess this is what I do best.

"I recorded this song two years ago now, but I dedicate it to the beautiful city that is Manchester and to anyone that lost their lives on Monday.

"The lyrics are my own and I really hope you listen till the end."

Mum-of-three Michelle Kiss, from Whalley, was among the 22 people killed on Monday when a suicide bomber detonated a homemade device that tore through the foyer of Manchester Arena as people left following a pop concert.

Hundreds of tributes have been paid to Michelle and a family friend will run a marathon this Sunday to raise funds for the bomb blast victim's family.
