Police are appealing for information after thieves stole copper piping from a house in the Hurst Green area.

The piping was taken sometime between Friday and Sunday and anyone with information should quote crime number EG1602154 to police.

During another theft, four crash/gym mats were stolen from a property in the Greenacre Street area of Clitheroe. The incident, crime number EG1602156, happened sometime between Friday and Monday.

On Monday morning, a lap top was stolen that the owner, who was on a bus from Accrington to Clitheroe, had accidentally left when travelling between Whalley and Clitheroe. The lap top was in a bag with a Union Jack logo on and anyone with information about its whereabouts should quote crime number EG1602174

Meanwhile, just before midnight on Sunday, two round Convex Traffic Safety (driveway) mirrors were removed and stolen from their mountings close to a property in the Chatburn area, crime number EG1602157.

In a similar incident, on Monday evening a car parked on a property’s drive in the Hawthorn Close area of Whalley, had one of its wing mirrors kicked off. Anyone with details should quote crime number EG1602179.

And finally, paintwork on a car parked close to the owner’s home in the Chaigley area was damaged by someone using a sharp implement between Saturday and Monday. Anyone with information about this incident should call the police on 101 and quote incident number EG1602158.
