Community groups in the Ribble Valley are invited to a public meeting to discuss the future of The Black Bull Hotel, Rimington.

The hotel’s owners have announced their intention to sell it, but as it is included on the Ribble Valley Register of Community Assets, community groups are entitled to express an interest in acquiring the site for use as a community facility, before it goes on the open market.

The public meeting will take place at the Rimington Memorial Institute at 7pm tomorrow (Thursday, January 9th) and anyone interested in acquiring the landmark hotel for use as a community asset is invited to go along to find out more and express their interest.

Alternatively, they can register their interest with Ribble Valley Borough Council’s head of legal and democratic sercices, Diane Rice, by phoning her on 01200 414418 by next Monday, January 13th.
