The relocation of a popular and successful Ribble Valley business to the Swan Courtyard in the centre of Clitheroe will be celebrated with a launch event and fundraiser.

Paint Pot, formerly situated at Backridge Farm, Waddington, offers fun and creative activities for all the family and has grown significantly since its launch by owner Claire Tierney in December 2008.

Claire explained why the timing for the move to more prominent town centre premises felt right: “The move to Clitheroe was the next natural step for us as we want to be much more accessible to all our customers. We’ve had people in the past who have wanted to visit but have had no transport, so our new Swan Courtyard shop will be accessible to anyone living in Clitheroe or the surrounding villages and will also enable visitors to enjoy what we have to offer alongside all the town’s amenities, which are now on our doorstep.

She continued: “We are grateful to have been welcomed with open arms by the Clitheroe business community, who have sent us many lovely messages of support. It is important for us to offer something that will encourage people to visit the town to take advantage of what it has to offer and we feel that Paint Pot certainly has something unique and fun for all visitors to enjoy.”

l The official opening of Paint Pot takes place on Saturday, May 10th from 10 am to 5 pm. Proceeds will go towards ChART (Children’s Hospice Art), a charity which works closely with hospices around the country to enrich the lives of children with life-limiting conditions through creative and performing arts.
