Members of Clitheroe Ladies’ Circle danced the night away during a ceilidh held 20 years’ ago at Pendleton Village Hall, raising £212 for Ribble Valley Crossroads Carers.

More than 75 people attended the event, which was organised by Community Service convener Mrs Nina Bryan. Attractions included a hot pot supper and rousing live music provided by Fixed Penalty, a folk song and dance band.

The photo taken in 1992 shows chairman Mrs Bernadette Brown, Crossroads co-ordinator Mrs Kathleen Eastwood and Crossroads vice-chairman Mrs Martin James, with band members and guests.
