Clitheroe’s market traders helped to raise £450 for Rosemere Cancer Foundation
with a fun day at the recent Clitheroe Food Festival. They funded a stall in the bullring from which Rosemere volunteers kept visitors entertained with games and the sale of merchandise.
The stall also sold raffle tickets, offering prizes donated by the traders. Among the prizes was a luggage set worth £160 gifted by Pete Gainsley, who sells Sampan travel goods and accessories. Clitheroe’s market traders have previously supported Rosemere by hosting
family fun days on its behalf last autumn and Christmas. Pictured (from left) are Dan Hill, East Lancs fundraising co-ordinator, Pete Gainsley and volunteer Roger Wilson. Rosemere raises money to bring world-class cancer treatment and services to Lancashire and South Cumbria.
