A man has been air-lifted to hospital with head injuries after being in collision with a car in Clitheroe this morning.
The incident happened on Whalley Road, Clitheroe at 8-50 a.m. Emergency services including the North West Air Ambulance were called and the man, believed to be in his thirties, was flown to Royal Preston Hospital.
A spokesman for the air ambulance said: “A male patient suffered head injuries and was taken to hospital. The driver of the car was treated at the scene for shock.”
