Thanks have been expressed to everyone who helped to make Whalley look beautiful for the RHS Northwest in Bloom Judging Day last month.

Penny Robinson-Kerr, volunteer co-ordinator for Whalley in Bloom, said: “The village and all the places the judges visited looked amazing. We really appreciate the extra effort made by so many people to support Whalley’s entry into the North West in Bloom competition.”

The results will be announced on October 24th at an awards ceremony in Southport.
