A Clitheroe teenager has been highly commended for his voluntary work.

Noah Froud (17), who was representing Clitheroe Youth Forum, was presented with a certificate at the High Sheriff Awards held at Lancashire Constabulary Police headquarters in Preston.

The award recognises Noah’s work with the youth forum, the Army Cadets at Waddow Hall, and his voluntary work in Clitheroe Mayor Coun. Kevin Horkin’s charity shop, plus other things.

Noah is the eldest son of the Rev. Andy Froud, the vicar at Clitheroe Parish Church, and is a student at Clitheroe Royal Grammar School Sixth Form Centre. He is pictured with Sophie Dickinson, of the youth forum to his left, and Jimmy Armfield (LANPAC), High Sheriff of Lancashire Mrs Ann Dean and Ian Woods, of BAE Systems, to his right.
